Stuart formed MiArt in 1998. He has worked in a wide range of environments, and gathered a great deal of experience in both software development and, crucially, how different businesses function.

Stuart's particular area of expertise is pharmacy systems, Visual C++ and the .Net Framework.

Janet has been with the company since its inception and combines direct client handling and detailed account management. Janet has over 16 years experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.

History

MiArt Technology Services Ltd (formerly Ackrill Computer Services Ltd) was incorporated in 1998 to supply IT services to the Pharmaceutical sector. In January 2000 a separate company, MiArt Technology Ltd, was founded my Michael Hughes and Stuart Bennett to explore developing a clinical audit system and establishing a medical informatics portal. Ackrill Computer Services and MiArt Technology then amalgamated in 2002 to develop a more forceful presence in the field of medical informatics.

In 2002 MiArt received a DTI SMART for a feasibility study which explored the possibility of developing an XML based guideline and protocol system for use by healthcare professionals in clinical environments.

The Technical Director of MiArt Technology Services, Stuart Bennett, has extensive experience in information systems design and development, as well as departmental level management and budgetary control.

Over the last twelve years this focus has led to development work using three tier development techniques based upon the Microsoft COM and .Net architectures for AAH Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Lloydspharmacy Ltd, along with number of less high profile clients.
